The TD Platinum Travel Visa Card is the perfect product for individuals who would like to get travel deals, booking their trips through any travel service provider or website. Card holders receive 15,000 bonus points as a welcome bonus upon approval, earning 3 points for every dollar they spend on the credit card. Amounts spent on travel purchases earn double this amount or six points. If your purchases per year are $18,000, you will accumulate a total of 54,000 points. Booking travel at the Travel Rewards Center of TD Canada Trust, in the amount of $3000, earns additional 18,000 points. In this way, the total free travel earned stands at $435.
